🌼 Understanding our thoughts is the first step 🌼 Understanding our thoughts is the first step toward peace. 🧠 Our brains are wired to seek comfort, often leading us to engage in patterns that don’t serve our well-being. By quitting the habits that drain our energy and distort our self-worth, we reclaim our mental clarity. Remember, self-awareness is the most powerful tool we possess. It allows us to challenge the dopamine-driven impulses that keep us in cycles of negativity. Choose to break free and cultivate a mindset that nurtures growth and peace.

What number rings true for you at this present moment? 🤔

🌼 I genuinely believe the universe has guided m 🌼 I genuinely believe the universe has guided me to this path for a purpose. The work and the connections I form aren’t just a job for me; they feel like a calling. It’s a journey that fuels my spirit and drives me to continually grow and develop in this area. It’s an honour to walk alongside these young people and their families ✨🤍

🎰 Just like a person might need help recognisin 🎰 Just like a person might need help recognising when their gambling is unhealthy, it’s important for us to recognise when a relationship isn’t good for us ❤️‍🩹
Learning to spot these signs can help us make better choices and find healthier, happier connections ❤️

A big part of my work is attachments. Older adolescents, still honing their emotional and relational abilities, may struggle to escape the volatility of unhealthy attachments

I frequently hear from young women/girls discussing their relationships. It’s evident that they are trapped in a toxic cycle, repeatedly returning despite the negative dynamics at play. Sadly, they often fail to acknowledge the significant effects this has on their spirit, self-esteem, self-worth, and overall well-being 😤😕

If you notice your daughter cycling through unhealthy relationships, reach out for support. Their future selves will thank you and give you peace of mind that she will make choices based on educated decisions🤔

🚶‍♀️‍➡️steps for setting boundaries 🚶‍♀️‍➡️steps for setting boundaries for yourself or teaching your child

Reflection🪞: Take time to understand your values, needs, and feelings. Identify what makes you uncomfortable or stressed in relationships.

Define Your Boundaries 🚧: Clearly articulate what your boundaries are. This can include physical, emotional, and time boundaries. Be specific about what is acceptable and what is not.

Communicate Clearly🗣️: Express your boundaries in a straightforward and respectful manner. Use “I” statements to convey your feelings, such as “I feel overwhelmed when...”

Be Assertive💪: Stand firm in your boundaries without feeling guilty. Assertiveness is key to ensuring that your boundaries are respected.

Set Consequences ⚠️: Determine what will happen if your boundaries are crossed. Communicate these consequences clearly so that others understand the importance of respecting your limits.

Consistency is Key🔑: Consistently enforce your boundaries. If they are violated, address it directly and reaffirm your limits. Inconsistency can lead to confusion and disregard for your boundaries.

Be Prepared for Pushback⏳: Understand that some people may resist your boundaries, especially if they are unaccustomed to them. Stay calm and reaffirm your limits without engaging in conflict.

Practice Self-Care🧘: Prioritise your well-being by engaging in self-care activities. This reinforces the importance of your boundaries and helps you maintain emotional balance.

Seek Support 🤝: If you struggle with setting boundaries, consider seeking guidance from a trusted friend or therapist. Professional support can offer valuable strategies and insights.

Reflect and Adjust 🔄: Periodically reassess your boundaries to ensure they still align with your needs and values. Be open to adjusting them as you grow and change.

Model Boundaries for Others🌱: By demonstrating healthy boundary-setting in your own life, you encourage others to respect their own boundaries and those of others.
