At-Risk Teen Counselling & Parent Support

From everyday struggles to crisis, you’re in the right place.

Let's work together

I work with young people aged 12–25 and their parents. Some of the families I see are navigating the everyday challenges of growing up — anxiety, friendship struggles, low self-esteem, grief, school stress, or simply not feeling like they belong. Others are walking through much harder territory — school refusal, withdrawal, substance use, rage, or behaviours that have parents scared in ways they can’t quite say out loud.

Wherever your young person sits on that spectrum, you’re in the right place.

Areas of expertise

Hello! I’m Jackie,

My story

My background spans school counselling, youth and family counselling, and family law counselling — which means I’ve supported young people through everyday adolescence and through crisis points like court, hospital, and family breakdown. That range matters, because a young person can move from “doing okay” to “really not okay” quickly, and the support needs to move with them.
I was once the young person everyone was worried about. That lived experience, paired with my clinical training, shapes how I see every teen who walks through my door.

Take the First Step Toward a Brighter Tomorrow

Watching your young person struggle is one of the hardest experiences of parenting. Whether it’s anxiety that’s stealing their confidence, friendship pain, or behaviour that has you lying awake at night — the worry is heavy, and it’s often invisible to everyone outside your home.
You don’t have to keep carrying it on your own. If any of this sounds like your family, I’d love to hear from you. Reaching out is the brave part. Everything after that, we figure out together
