In the chaos of life, find your center, embrace the process, and keep moving forward. Never let go of your vision ❤️

When positive reinforcement happens, the brain’s When positive reinforcement happens, the brain’s reward system is activated through the release of dopamine, the feel-good neurotransmitter. 🧠✨ This creates feelings of pleasure and satisfaction, strengthening the neural pathways linked to the behaviour. As a result, the behaviour is more likely to be repeated. 🚀 The pleasurable feelings boost motivation and encourage persistence in similar tasks, reinforcing a cycle of positive behaviour and reward. Without positive reinforcement, the brain doesn’t get this dopamine kick, so the behaviour isn’t connected with pleasure. 🌀 This means the pathways stay weak, making the behaviour less likely to happen again, and motivation can drop. In a nutshell, positive reinforcement makes behaviours neurologically rewarding, encouraging ongoing positive actions and development. 🌱

Once they experience this love, they’ll never settle for chaos disguised as love from a partner when they grow up.

How you show up and love your child really does dictate the love they choose for themselves later in life. What is familiar and ‘safe’ often becomes their benchmark for relationships.

Children internalise the emotional patterns they observe. If they witness healthy communication, trust, and emotional support, they are more likely to seek out partners who embody those qualities. BUT, if they grow up in an environment marked by unpredictability, distress, with no repair, they may unconsciously gravitate towards similar dynamics, mistaking it for love.

- They will experience trauma bonding rather than real love. Trauma bonds feel powerful because they activate our deepest survival mechanisms.

If you and and you child cycle through dramatic peaks and valleys now, when they’re seeking love their nervous system might confuse chaos with passion.

Love should expand who your child is, not diminish them.

Reparent yourself now so your child doesn’t have to do the work later. Healing begins when you recognise the pattern.

There should be no shame held around reparenting yourself.
I too had to do this 🙋🏽‍♀️

Let’s get real: when we raise our kids on a stri Let’s get real: when we raise our kids on a strict "just do what I say" vibe, we’re doing them a huge disservice. They miss out on learning how to think for themselves and make decisions. This can lead to a fear of choices, and trust me, nobody wants their kid growing up to be a people pleaser.

Think about it—growing up in that kind of environment can crush their self-esteem and make them anxious. They end up feeling like their worth is all about obeying rules instead of just being themselves. It can lead to trust issues, making them hesitant to speak up about what they really want or need.

Give them explanations and real choices. This way, we’re not just raising compliant kids; we’re helping them build confidence and a strong sense of self-worth.

Just like addictive substances, social media can t Just like addictive substances, social media can trigger a strong dopamine surge, especially in developing adolescent brains. 📱⚡

To cultivate healthier dopamine pathways, focus on activities that provide prolonged rewards rather than immediate ones. Encourage your child to engage in hobbies, sports, or creative pursuits that take time and effort but yield a sense of achievement and fulfillment. 🎨🏅 Nurturing a sense of faith or spirituality can also provide a deeper purpose and connection, helping them find fulfillment beyond the instant gratification of social media. 🙏🏽✨

Create a balanced approach that nurtures their developing brains and emotional well-being. 🌱

Humility is a teens worst enemy. It's the developm Humility is a teens worst enemy. It's the developmental stage where their fear of being judged weighs massively on ego ( their sense of self-importance or self-worth).
Constant fear of being judged can lead to an inflated ego as they might overcompensate by trying to present a perfect image, or it can result in a fragile ego, where they feel inadequate and overly sensitive to criticism. This struggle can hinder their ability to build authentic relationships and can create a cycle of insecurity and activate the onset of social anxiety.

If your child is struggling to do life right now and you are feeling helpless. Tap the link in the bio, a confident and capable child is only one tap away.
